How to Volunteer with Rebuilding Together Seattle

Since 1990 more than 19,750 skilled, unskilled, and youth volunteers have donated time and talent to help less advantaged homeowners and non-profit community centers in the Seattle area with repairs and renovation. Everyone who would like to participate in this very rewarding program is encouraged to do so. While most sponsors assemble their own teams, we can always use more help. Carpenters, electricians, and plumbers are especially needed to help handle the unexpected situations that often occur when work is performed on older homes.

Besides the activity on Rebuilding Day, there are many people who volunteer with RTS all year long. Just fill out the Volunteer Opportunities form and fax or mail it into the RTS office. Volunteer activities include:

Some work needs to be performed ahead of time so that everything goes smoothly on Rebuilding Day.

Whether you are a project manager, skilled tradesperson, gardener, general handyman, arborist or someone who wants to pitch in and help. . . we welcome your support. Please join us as we prepare to celebrate the "Spirit of Giving" during Seattle's next Rebuilding Day. The experience will be very rewarding.
